It was here that I learnt that parents are the first teachers and teachers are the second parents, not by listening but by experiencing. It was here where I learnt not just to use my brain but to apply my heart, be it an exam, a race, a table tennis match, or the words on the black board. My classes were never bound by the syllabus or the length of a period. I have had friends who taught me some things, and teachers with whom we had fun. It was at Vidya Bhavan where I made connections that will remain life long and where I learnt to lead a compassionate life. The school taught me to not be afraid of trying, or of failing, and to get back up when it gets difficult. I wholeheartedly thank everyone whom I came across here, and I always try to do what will make my teachers and friends proud. I hope everyone gets to experience the school life that I did.

Vidya Bhavan Public School has been more than just an institution for me—it has been the foundation of my character, confidence, and values. The years I spent here shaped not only my academic journey but also my outlook towards life. I carry with me countless memories of inspiring teachers, morning assemblies, healthy competitions, Inter house Activities, Sports meet, Annual Functions and friendships that have stood the test of time. Any place where core memories are made becomes important. It is the time in our lives when we experiment, learn, take high stake decisions and face consequences, all while knowing there is a safety net beneath us. The people, the memories that stay for life, the connections that still feel fresh and will always remain, that is what makes a place unforgettable. A place where I met the most important person in my life. For me, that place is Vidya Bhavan and I am sure for many of us, it is the same. From journeys in the bus to lessons inside and outside the classroom, from events we participated in to those we organised, every experience has shaped the path I walk today. It is the place where I first picked up a camera, where I first hit render, where I got to act and be on stage. There were always people excited to turn our ideas into reality, guiding us to understand that perfection comes later, but execution comes first. Knowing that what I am passionate about today started with my friends and mentors makes this journey of making films even more important and special. It is also the place where many saw me as my father’s son, but so many more saw me for who I am, without prejudice. It is where mentors feel more like friends and family, pun intended and where the comfort of a safety net still exists. A place that continues to welcome you back, as if time pauses every time you return. Ten years after passing out, it still feels the same. The connection we have with Vidya Bhavan is something special. So many people I met later in life do not feel the same way about their school. For them, school was just a place they attended. For us, it never really ended. It lives in our stories, our choices and in the people we became.

Vidya Bhavan Public School has played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today. Spending a decade at VBPS gave me not only strong academic grounding but also important life lessons in discipline, responsibility, confidence, and values. As a member of the Class of 2015 at Vidya Bhavan Public School, I marked a decade since graduation last year. But it never felt like time flew by - but in fact, perfectly sailed. Stepping into the world forced me to ponder over the values that my time in Vidya Bhavan had built within me over the years

It’s not an accident that our alums are found to excel in the widest range of fields. From world-class annual functions to competitive sports days - every other event was an opportunity to open up to a fresh challenge. And, I believe, this energy attracts alike.

 I can only thank my parents for choosing this place for me, and all my teachers for making it twice the worthwhile. It’s been an absolute honour.

I joined VBPS in year 2005 session and for 10 years this school was my second home. It has been an enriching experience here. VBPS nurtured my personality and helped me build my “never giving up” attitude. The school's emphasis on character building and values played a significant role in my personal growth.  Apart from Academics, VBPS also offers various extracurricular activities which helped in building my confidence, sense of responsibility & moral values.

Vidya Bhavan Public School will always hold a very special place in my heart. It is here that I discovered my true talent in sports and learned to believe in myself. The guidance and encouragement of my teachers shaped not only my skills but also my character. I remain deeply thankful to Mr. Sachin Pal and Mr. Hemant for showing me the way forward, and to Ms. Kalpana, Ms. Swati, Ms. Arti and Mr. Ram Gopal whose words still inspire me every day.  Under the firm yet caring leadership of our Principal, Mr. Nikesh Sharma, I learned resilience, discipline, and self-belief. This school has truly been the foundation of my journey and who I am today.

Some foundations stay with you for life. School was where I slowly became more confident and surer of myself. It taught me to be disciplined, to take my responsibilities seriously, and to stay consistent even when things felt overwhelming. Being a Head Girl was an important phase for me.
